When Evanger's offered 1,000 meals for dogs to a rescue organization in West Sacramento, California, Dee Dee had no way to pick up the Evanger's Grain Free Chicken and Sweet Potato with Pumpkin kibble for dogs in need. That is when the community jumped in to help get high-quality food to pets in need. The Calaveras Animal Control Director Michael V. in the nearby town of San Andreas stepped in to help. Mike drove an animal control truck to West Sacramento to pick up the product and delivered it to the Humane Society.
